SalesGuard (“SalesGuard”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use the SalesGuard platform, including GuardLinks, buyer workspaces, vendor submissions, and Vendor Passports.
SalesGuard is designed as a structured vendor intake and evaluation system (“Vendor ATS”). We collect only the data necessary to deliver this functionality in a secure, transparent, and merit-based way.
1. Information We Collect
- Account Information: Name, email address, company name, role, and authentication details.
- Buyer Data: Routes, questions, evaluation notes, internal comments, and vendor decisions created within buyer workspaces.
- Vendor Data: Vendor Passport information, submissions, uploaded documents (e.g. SOC 2 reports, case studies), pricing details, and product descriptions.
- Usage Data: Interaction events, page views, route activity, and feature usage to improve platform performance and usability.
- Communications: Messages sent to us for support, feedback, or operational communication.
2. How We Use Your Information

- Generate explainable, merit-based scoring and analytics.
- Improve templates, defaults, and system intelligence using aggregated patterns.

3. Scoring, Analytics, and AI
SalesGuard uses rules-based systems and assistive AI to help buyers evaluate vendor submissions. Scores are generated based on criteria defined by buyers and information provided by vendors.
We do not sell personal data, use hidden ranking boosts, or allow paid influence over scoring outcomes. All scoring logic is designed to remain explainable and auditable.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. Information is shared only:
- Between buyers and vendors participating in the same submission flow.
- With trusted infrastructure providers (e.g. hosting, email, monitoring) strictly for service operation.
- When legally required to comply with applicable law.
5. Data Security
We apply industry-standard security practices including encryption, access controls, audit logging, and least-privilege permissions. SalesGuard is built with SOC 2 readiness and enterprise security principles from day one.
6. Data Retention
We retain data only as long as necessary to provide the service or comply with legal obligations. Buyers and vendors may request data deletion subject to contractual and regulatory requirements.
